The First Post

What can you expect from this blog? I plan to share short reflections on Scripture, ideas for spending time together as a family, book/movie/restaurant reviews, and probably a few Lord of the Rings quotes (see above). The goal is, as I am encouraged, that I am passing it along to others. So really, I think the topics could be endless.

As noted in the tagline of the title, I’ve been asked if I will post every day, since the Scripture says, “every day.” Hmm…probably not. But I do hope this blog will be a tool in my life to be seeking to encourage as often as possible.

I plan to have segments called It’s the Little Things, Make Every Effort, and Family Fun Fridays, which I will explain in the days ahead.

This blog has been on my mind for many years, but has finally come together in recent days. I am excited, but I’ll admit, a little nervous. It is intimidating to put yourself out there! Any encouragement I receive is ultimately from God and I seek to be obedient to Him in sharing it. To Him be all the glory!
