To follow up from the last post: we have moved! A couple of days after the closing I went through my journal and created a timeline of the past YEAR, of all the twists and turns that led us to today.
This was so good to see. Situations I had already forgotten. Time frames I didn’t realize. And then to look it all over from beginning to end.
So, I am encouraging you: if you don’t already journal in some form or fashion, start! If you did at one time and have stopped, start again!
It doesn’t have to be pretty. It doesn’t have to be eloquent. Just write down the things going on in your life that you are praying about and then update it when you see an answer. Over time you will have a collection of many ways that God has been at work in your life. And if you are having a day of feeling discouraged or don’t know what to do, you will be able to look back at all the times He got you through in the past. This helps us to remember that He will continue!
