We left out a little after 6:00 a.m., first stop: to pick up our oldest at college. What a beautiful morning for a drive!
We made it to Erie, PA in the late afternoon. We were given the recommendation to try to catch a sunset at Presque Isle State Park just outside of Erie. Wow! It was beautiful!
We enjoyed just hanging out there together by the water. Very peaceful.
We continued a vacation tradition to have ice cream for one of our meals at The Straw Hat. It was good; lots of choices and reasonably priced.
Settled into our hotel in North East, PA and called it a day! Next stop: Niagara Falls!
